Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Integration Architect to lead final stages of the South 4 LIMS project, migrating pathology systems to the South 4 platform. The post holder will work with supplier integration specialists to enable direct and TIE-mediated connections to order communications and other clinical systems, and to enable integrated reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent NHS technical architect experience at Band 7+.
• Experience in large NHS IT implementations involving multiple DBMS.
• Experience with LIMS implementation across one or more NHS Trusts.
• Knowledge of OUH systems architecture and diagnostic order workflows.
• Knowledge of MIRTH integration engines.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration work for the South 4 LIMS project transition.
• Collaborate with supplier integration specialists for direct/TIE connections to order comms and clinical systems.
• Guide migration of hosting from physical data centres to a cloud solution and oversee testing strategies.
• Ensure systems are clinically safe and aligned with enterprise architecture.
