Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Parent Coach (Senior Family Support Worker) on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2028. The role delivers parenting interventions through a countywide Team, coordinating with multi-disciplinary colleagues and partners to support families across Warwickshire.

The post requires relevant child and family qualifications, a minimum of 3 years in family support, strong ICT/Teams skills, and a full driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Relevant child and family qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of NVQ Level Four or equivalent qualification in a related subject.
• Demonstrated PD development in parenting programmes (e.g. Solihull Approach).
• Experience in family support work and partnership/coaching duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of parenting interventions across county.
• Lead and contribute to professional training within the Family and Relationship Offer.
• Coordinate with partners across Children and Families and wider networks.
• Engage with diverse audiences including parents, carers, schools, and community partners.
