Job summary

Warwickshire County Council in Warwickshire is seeking a Social Worker to join the Family Help Team at Arden Centre, Atherstone. The role is 37 hours per week, based in Arden Centre, with strong multi‑agency collaboration to support families and protect children.

The post requires a professional social work qualification and extensive experience with complex cases, plus excellent analytical and report-writing skills. A generous benefits package and relocation support may be available.

We are proud to be a truly multi‑disciplinary team, bringing together Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSOs and, soon, an NHS Nurse. By working collaboratively under one team, we are able to respond to families’ needs holistically, reduce risk and focus on what matters most – keeping families safely together wherever possible.

Our practice is firmly grounded in Restorative Principles. We work with families, supporting them to identify their strengths, understand challenges and create meaningful, achievable plans for positive change. Every family is supported to develop a plan that is individual to them and builds on their own capacity to achieve lasting outcomes. You’ll be joining a team that is ambitious for children and families, open to innovation and committed to reflective, relationship‑based practice. About the Role:

Up to £53,769 per annum (Includes a £3,500 pro‑rated annual market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions T&Cs apply. Plus, Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be available from if the relevant policy criteria are met. T&Cs apply. Up to £51,726.00 per annum. Including a £3,500 pro‑rated market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions - T&C's apply.)

Key Requirements:

• Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW)
• In depth experience in children's social work and experience of complex cases
• Have excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions
• Can record and produce concise, effective, and accurate reports
• Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families
