Job summary

NJR Recruitment is seeking a capable Paraplanner for a permanent, full-time role in Derby. The position supports two Financial Planners, delivering high-quality, technically robust advice across retirement, investments, protection, IHT, trusts and business planning.

You'll prepare personalised suitability reports, conduct in-depth analysis, manage multiple cases to deadlines, and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant, while contributing to a positive team environment and excellent

Qualifications

• Level 4 CII Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Experience as a paraplanner within wealth management.
• Good understanding of financial products and services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and deadlines.
• Experience with business submission and presentation pack preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare personalised suitability reports and client letters.
• Undertake detailed research and provide technical commentary.
• Support two Financial Planners across the advice process.
• Ensure client work is accurate, compliant and well documented.
• Assist with administration and client submissions when needed.
• Collaborate with advisers to deliver a high-quality client journey.
