Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment, based on the outskirts of Woking, seeks an experienced Paraplanner to support Financial Advisers in a fast-growing, well-established Independent Financial Adviser environment. The role offers exposure to HNW and complex cases within a collaborative team.

You will analyse client data, perform advanced financial analysis, and prepare suitability reports while staying compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (preferably Level 6 Advanced Diploma)
• Experience as a Paraplanner
• Experience with Intelliflo or other back office systems, Wrap Platforms, FE Analytics, Cashflow Planning software and MS Office
• Technical competence in investments, pensions, tax allowances, protection, trusts and IHT

Responsibilities

• Analyse client information from Fact Finds, existing records and meeting notes
• Conduct advanced financial analysis, cashflow modelling, pension & investment research and IHT planning
• Support advisers ahead of client meetings/reviews and analyse client's existing portfolios
• Research products and services to make suitable recommendations
• Prepare suitability reports with disclosures and illustrations, including investments, transfers, drawdown, IHT and protection business
• Attend client meetings with financial advisers when required
• Work with the team to ensure timely processing and submission
• Stay up-to-date with legislation, best practice and regulatory standards
• Maintain relationships with product and service providers
• Participate in the In-house Investment Committee
