Job summary

NJR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paraplanner in Wigan with hybrid working options (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH). The role emphasizes producing high-quality technical reports and supporting advisers to ensure compliant, client-focused outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has a background in financial planning or wealth management, with strong FCA knowledge and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience working as a Paraplanner in financial advice or wealth management.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning and protection.
• Excellent suitability report writing skills and FCA compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed research and analysis to formulate financial planning advice.
• Prepare accurate, compliant suitability reports and letters.
• Provide technical support across investments, pensions, inheritance tax, tax-efficient investments, trusts and protection.
• Prepare cash flow planning forecasts and supporting analysis.
• Provide technical research and guidance to advisers and management.
• Collaborate with advisers and administrators to deliver client cases.
