Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd is seeking a Senior Technician for the paint shop within production. You will ensure smooth and efficient operations, following detailed process documents and safety guidelines to deliver a high-quality paint finish on supercars.

You will learn multiple processes to cover for absent teammates while maintaining strict 5S standards. You'll work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, escalate finish concerns to your line manager, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Understand and follow detailed process documents for vehicle painting.
• Be aware of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Able to make sound, logical decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow paint process (PES) guidance to ensure consistent finish.
• Complete station operations on each vehicle within takt and high standard.
• Escalate concerns to leader about quality, cost or productivity.
• Maintain 5S in the work area per McLaren expectations.
• Keep uniform and PPE in line with company standards.
• Preserve a safe working environment for yourself and teammates.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities as directed.
