Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Technician in production, specifically the paint shop, in Woking. You will ensure the paint process is applied to a high standard, escalate finish concerns, and learn multiple processes to cover absences while maintaining strict safety and 5S standards.

Reporting to the Team Leader/Group Leader, you will support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to delivering world-class finish on our supercars.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint application and finishing processes.
• Ability to follow detailed process documents and safety guidelines.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow painting process documents for vehicles.
• Complete station tasks within takt and to high standards.
• Escalate quality, cost or productivity concerns to leadership.
• Maintain 5s in the work area and wear provided uniform.
• Ensure a safe working environment and comply with regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and learn multiple processes.
