Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Technician to oversee production area operations, ensuring safety, quality, and smooth coverage during absences. You will support the PES build process, inspect vehicles, and escalate issues to leaders while learning multiple processes in your zone.

Key responsibilities include adhering to all safety guidelines, maintaining high vehicle standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed process documents for vehicle assembly.
• Maintain highest vehicle quality and provide feedback to technicians.
• Escalate issues to supervisor when needed.
• Maintain 5S in the work area.
• Adhere to uniform and clothing standards.
• Uphold safety guidelines for self and team.
• Comply with regulations and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Be flexible and learn multiple processes.
• Train new employees at technician level or when learning new processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety guidelines in the production area.
• Support the build process to ensure consistent production and coverage during absences.
• Escalate build issues to the Team Leader/Group Leader.
• Maintain process discipline and feedback on quality concerns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the zone.
