Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is advertising a substantive Senior Clinical Fellow post in Paediatrics (ST3-5) based at The Lister Hospital, Stevenage. The appointee will join a busy Paediatric team, rotating between General Paediatrics and Neonates and taking part in outpatient clinics under consultant supervision.

Qualifications

• Substantive paediatric post (ST3-5) in a busy department.
• Rotation between General Paediatrics and Neonates.
• Outpatient clinics to be attended under consultant supervision.
• Involvement in teaching, audit and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Managing paediatric patients throughout their hospital stay.
• Delivering care to Newborns in the Neonatal Services.
• Delivering care to the NICU/SCBU, labour ward & post-natal.
• Assessment of referred babies and review of all babies as needed.
• Review of protocols as part of the team.
• Flexibly work across the service as required by service needs.
• Participate in outpatient clinics under supervision.
• Participate in department teaching and audits.
