Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust in London is seeking an enthusiastic paediatric dietitian to join our HEF team. This senior role supports Home Enteral Feeding across Tower Hamlets area, working with 2.1 WTE Band 7 colleagues, SLT and school clinics, within a large multidisciplinary team.

You will bring strong paediatric clinical experience, acute paediatrics preferred, excellent communication, and commitment to CPD, research and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Essential: BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or relevant postgraduate qualification; Paediatric Dietetics Training; HCPC registered; In-depth knowledge in nutrition support and paediatrics.
• Desirable: Member of relevant special clinical interest group; Supervision training; Qualification in Paediatrics.

Responsibilities

• To work within the multidisciplinary team and Integrated Service for Children with Disabilities, to provide highly specialized dietetic advice to children and young people receiving Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) in Tower Hamlets.
• To provide outpatient clinics in these areas. Also to undertake home visits and school clinics/visits.
• The post holder would undertake research and audit on a regular basis to ensure that practice is evidence based.
