Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Dietitian to join our Adult Clinical Dietetic Team, focusing on Home Enteral Feeding and Nutrition Support. You will develop specialist skills in HEF within both community and acute settings and contribute to the professional development of junior colleagues.

The role offers opportunities to lead on complex cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality patient-centred care across our NHS services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dietetic assessment and intervention for patients requiring home enteral tube feeding and complex nutrition support.
• Manage a varied caseload across community and acute services.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient-centred care.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and governance activities.
• Support, supervise and develop junior members of the dietetic workforce and students.
• Provide expert advice and education to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
