Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter is seeking a Senior Healthcare Support Worker for the Paediatric Assessment Unit. You will assist the Registered Nursing team in the care of Children and Young People, providing personal care and supporting recovery on the PAU.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Children and Young People (CYP).
• Competent in basic clinical tasks and patient care.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nursing team in the assessment and delivery of care for CYP on PAU.
• Provide patient-centred care and family support during the paediatric stay.
• Support in the running of PAU, Bramble Ward and paediatric outpatients as needed.
