Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Planner to support project managers and clients from concept to financial close on UK decarbonisation projects.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring planning and project controls meet client, stakeholder and regulatory requirements. Hybrid from home with a site office in Assington, Sudbury; 40-hour weeks with discretionary bonus and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or utilities or civils environments
• Experience of cross-functional teams
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Proficient business writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of Safety and Environmental legislation, practices and policies

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
• Prepare & update Detailed Programme with designers/customers to provide robust schedules reflecting risks and opportunities.
• Review and develop design/construction sequence to confirm duration in overall schedule.
• Facilitate design/construction readiness planning.
• Arrange and facilitate client and supply chain collaborative planning sessions.
• Review/manage and analyse sub-suppliers & contractor programmes for good practice and contractual requirements.
• Cost load the schedule where appropriate.
• Generate Earned Value Analysis from the cost loaded schedule.
• Monthly updating of the schedule and reports.
• Update and analyse the schedule based on compensation events or other events.
• Undertake delay analysis to support claims and determinations.
• Seek to minimise project cost and enhance value for money while meeting standards.
• Assist to avoid disputes with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide feedback on contract pricing.
• Contribute to and attend progress meetings with clients and sub-contractors.
• Ensure contractor programmes are realistic and managed in accordance with system access and project requirements.
• Contribute to project risk register.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
