Job summary

Egis, a leading global architecture, consulting, construction engineering and operating firm, is seeking a Senior Planner in the UK to support project managers and clients from concept through delivery to financial close, ensuring planning and project controls meet high standards and regulatory requirements.

Location is in the South with hybrid from home and a site-based office in Assington, Sudbury (3 days per week).

Qualifications

• Customer-centric approach to delivering high-quality output.
• Understanding of NEC4 forms of contract.
• Experience in electrical/utilities or civil environments.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Proficient business writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
• Prepare and update Detailed Programme with designers and customers.
• Review design/construction sequence to reflect project constraints.
• Facilitate design/construction readiness planning.
• Lead client and supply chain planning sessions.
• Review and analyse sub-suppliers and contractor programmes.
• Cost load the schedule where appropriate and generate Earned Value Analysis.
• Monthly updating of the schedule and reports.
• Assess impacts of compensation events on the programme.
• Undertake delay analysis to support claims and determinations.
• Contribute to risk register and client meetings.
• Ensure contractor programmes meet requirements and quality.
