JL Renewable Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to develop and coordinate complex tenders across HV substations, wind farms and electrical infrastructure in Scotland. The role requires strong estimating/tendering expertise within Power & Renewables and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams through the tender lifecycle.
You will review specifications, manage multiple bids, and support negotiations to ensure comprehensive, commercially sound tender submissions.

JL Renewable Solutions is working with a major engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator for its growing Power & Renewables division in Scotland.
The business is delivering an expanding portfolio of major HV substation, renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join at an exciting stage of growth.
This position will take responsibility for developing and coordinating complex tenders, working across estimating, engineering, procurement, commercial and project delivery teams.
A relevant qualification across Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline would be advantageous.
You'll be joining an organisation with a strong pipeline of projects across the UK Power & Renewables market and excellent opportunities for continued professional development.
This would suit an experienced Estimator looking to take greater responsibility for complex tenders and potentially progress towards technical, commercial or people leadership.
