Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) based at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time, permanent post for 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00, delivering compassionate patient care under nursing supervision in outpatient settings.

Education requirements include Maths & English at Level 1 GCSE and the Care Certificate (or to complete within 12 weeks).

Qualifications

• Maths & English at Level 1 (GCSE Grade 2-3, D-F or equivalent).
• Care Certificate or must complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment.
• Minimum of 12 months care experience.
• Outpatient Care Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental elements of patient care as directed by the qualified nursing team in outpatient settings.
• Work five days a week, Monday to Friday, at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
