Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Support Worker to join the ENT clinic team at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent. This Band 3 position supports patient care, assists with procedures, and helps run clinics on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires NHS experience, numeracy/literacy skills, and eligibility under UK immigration rules; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Numeracy/Literacy to Level 1; IELTS or OETS accepted for overseas applicants.
• Care Certificate or must complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or willing/required to complete.

Responsibilities

• Support/chaperone patients during procedures.
• Organisation and running of individual clinics.
• Removal of dressings and some simple dressing under supervision.
• Patient observations, height weight and BMI.
• Ensuring high standards of patient care and experience.
