Réalta Technologies is seeking an experienced OT Automation Engineer to support a Medical Device client in Blackpool, UK. The role requires 5+ years in automation, strong PLC/SCADA expertise (Allen Bradley preferred), and leadership to manage a small team.

You will ensure seamless integration with MES and PI, oversee IT infrastructure for automation, and contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA programming.
• Experience integrating automation with MES/PI or similar systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation projects from concept to completion.
• Design, program, and maintain PLC/SCADA systems, preferably Allen Bradley.
• Ensure integration of automation with MES, PI, and higher-level plant systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing equipment for efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and manage a small team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance.
• Maintain IT infrastructure for automation, including cybersecurity practices.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system architecture.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
