Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the acute inpatient team at Perth Royal Infirmary. You will manage your own caseload, providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for older persons medicine as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The post supports development within an integrated Health and Social Care setting, with supervision and opportunities for continuous professional development. Contract is part-time (18 hours) with pro rata salary.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an OT in physical rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and decision making skills.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a Health and Social Care setting.
• Ability to support junior OT staff and participate in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hold your own caseload and provide clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.
• Work within the acute inpatient team at Perth Royal Infirmary.
• Contribute to service development in a busy environment and participate in supervision.
