NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 6) for the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. The role offers 36 hours per week in a permanent post within Medical Specialities, with a focus on clinical leadership, service development and safe discharge planning.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, work within a dynamic MDT, and support junior staff while advancing clinical expertise in an acute hospital environment.

Competenze

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with current registration.
• Post-registration experience in acute medical practice.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and autonomous decision-making.
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Committed to compassionate, person-centred care and ongoing development.

Mansioni

• Deliver OT assessment and intervention within Medical Specialities.
• Prioritise a complex caseload in a fast-paced acute setting.
