Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced orthotist to join the Tayside Orthotic Service, based at Perth Royal Infirmary and linked to TORT Centre, Ninewells and Stracathro Hospitals. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team providing a comprehensive orthotic service for in-patients and out-patients.

The role requires an honours degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics and HCPC registration. You will support cast rectification, device adjustments and manufacturing processes, while upholding high

Qualifications

• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Evidence of recent practice in NHS or private healthcare.
• Ability to demonstrate high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Treat hospital in-patients and out-patients at clinics.
• Carry out cast rectification, repairs and adjustments to orthotic devices.
• Work within Health and Safety guidelines and Quality Management Systems.
• Collaborate with other clinical specialties including orthopaedics, neurology and diabetes services.
