NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service, delivering inpatient and community rehabilitation. The post is fixed term/secondment for 18 months and to be based in Crieff or Kinross with cross-location work as required.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered, experienced in physical rehabilitation, and committed to person-centred, collaborative care within a developing, multidisciplinary team.

This post will enhance the multidisciplinary team to deliver inpatient and community rehabilitation and support the development of new models of care with an integrated approach.
The team are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is motivated to be part of developing an innovative and forward-looking service and will promote the value of Occupational Therapy, providing high-quality assessment and rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist within physical rehabilitation, an understanding of the principles of health and social care integration and have the skills to support the team to progress service development. They will be passionate about providing excellent person-centred treatment and care, and value honest and open communication.
The post may be based in Crieff or Kinross subject to agreement and with a requirement to work across both locations to meet service needs.
Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provide a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.
In line with the evidence base and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions, will be moving towards 7 day working. This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care. Therefore all new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7-day service/rota to enable the service to be ready to move to a safe and effective 7-day service.
