Job summary
Doncaster And Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Band 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join the elective orthopaedic service at Mexborough Elective Orthopaedic Centre. You will deliver autonomous clinical care, lead rapid response, and support high standards of patient outcomes in a modern orthopaedic hub.
The role requires leadership, extensive advanced assessment skills, and ongoing CPD within a multidisciplinary team, under GIRFT recommendations.
Qualifications
- Registered professional with current registration and working towards masters.
- Evidence of autonomous practice with leadership and supervision.
- Experience in acute clinical settings and advanced assessment skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous high-quality clinical care for orthopaedic elective patients.
- Lead rapid response for Mexborough Montagu Hospital and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Pursue CPD and participate in teaching and supervision of junior staff.
