Job summary

Mexborough Theatres hosts the Band 6 Lead Practitioner post for podiatry and orthopaedics with rotation to other sites. The role requires ODP or RN qualification, current registration, and at least two years at Band 5 with strong clinical practice.

The post supports leadership development, including a plan to advance leadership responsibilities. Full-time 37.5 hours; part-time 30 hours considered, with potential for flexible working as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse with current registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at Band 5 with recent expert clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and drive service development.
• Manage the department in the absence of the Band 7.
• Undertake advanced life support responsibilities as required.
• Work dual role across podiatry and orthopaedics.
