Qualifications

• Registered practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration.
• MSc relevant to the role or portfolio of practice.
• Advanced orthopaedic/musculoskeletal knowledge and experience.
• Non medical prescribing.
• Teaching/mentoring qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, high-quality care as an Advanced Practitioner within the designated area.
• Assess, examine, diagnose and treat with an agreed scope of practice; refer and discharge patients as appropriate.
• Support safe treatment, referrals and discharge within the team's competence.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, radiography, podiatry and therapy colleagues; coordinate MDT activities.
• Contribute to development and transformation of pathways of care.
