Newmedica is seeking a Senior Ophthalmic Technician to lead the Clinic team, oversee Ophthalmic Assistants, and support theatre operations under the guidance of the Lead Theatre Practitioner. You will perform and verify ophthalmic tests, maintain imaging equipment, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience, ideally ophthalmology
• Strong understanding of diagnostic services and ophthalmic assessments
• Experience delivering high quality technical clinical procedures
• Ability to undertake fault remedy, cleaning and maintenance of imaging equipment
• People management experience and good teamwork skills
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency
