Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a busy food manufacturing site at Lodge Farm, Northampton. You will ensure food safety, quality and production standards across the site and perform routine checks on the production floor.

The role starts on a 12-week temporary basis with the opportunity to move to a permanent position based on performance. 37.5 hours per week, rotating day shifts, immediate start.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing QA is desirable.
• Knowledge of HACCP, QMS and GMP is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, organised and proactive.
• Good communication and teamwork under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, quality and production standards on site.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly quality checks.
• Monitor HACCP and QMS compliance.
• Carry out hygiene, GMP checks on the floor.
• Manage product releases and COAs.
• Support training and continuous improvement.
• Spend approximately 80% of the shift on the production floor.

£14.91 per hour

Rotating Day Shifts - 37.5 hours per week:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday - 5:30am to 1:30pm
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday - 12:00pm to 10:00pmLodge Farm - Northampton

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Supervisor (QA) to join a busy food manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with food manufacturing or quality experience who is looking for a long-term, permanent position.

The role will initially be offered on a 12-week temporary basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following successful performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will help ensure that food safety, quality and production standards are maintained throughout the site.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly quality checks.
• Monitor QMS and HACCP compliance.
• Carry out food safety, hygiene and GMP checks on the production floor.
• Complete Glass, Hard Plastic and Fabrication audits.
• Manage product release and COAs.
• Submit laboratory samples and complete equipment calibration checks.
• Support training, verification and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with production and management teams.
• Identify and report quality or food safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Spend approximately 80% of the shift on the production floor.
