Job summary

Komplex Care seeks a Senior Operations Manager to provide strategic operational leadership for services supporting individuals with complex needs. You will ensure safe, high-quality home-based care, uphold governance, and drive performance across the organisation.

You will lead a team of nurses and care professionals, shaping service delivery with the Director of Clinical Skills and Senior Leadership Team to meet current and future demand.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in health and social care.
• Proven leadership to manage and develop teams.
• Experience with regulated services and CQC compliance.
• Understanding of clinical governance and Mental Capacity Act.
• Experience in patient care and service delivery with budgeting.
• Knowledge of commissioned and privately funded care services.
• Excellent communication and relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, accountable leadership aligning care with goals.
• Collaborate with Director of Clinical Skills on clinical best practice.
• Oversee safety, quality and CQC compliance, aiming for Outstanding.
• Implement governance objectives and service improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Mental Capacity Act 2005 and CQC standards.
• Mitigate risks with preventative measures.
• Oversee audits and documentation quality.
• Ensure full commissioned hours of care and manage staffing gaps.
• Promote cohesive leadership across nursing and care teams.
• Oversee end-to-end client journey from assessment to review.
• Build relationships with NHS, ICBs, Social Services, Case Managers.
• Represent Komplex at MDT meetings and safeguarding discussions.
• Prepare KPI reports for the board.
• Uphold safeguarding and data protection policies.
• Maintain professional boundaries.
