Job summary

Kevin Theobald Employment Agency, on behalf of our client, seeks a Senior Operations Coordinator to organise freight movements across the UK and Europe and deliver reliable logistical solutions. Typical hours are Monday to Friday (Apply online only), with one Saturday morning every four weeks.

The role offers 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a salary of £40k+, based in Hertfordshire. You will communicate complex instructions clearly to customers and suppliers, build strong

Responsibilities

• Organise movement of freight across Europe and the UK.
• Communicate complex instructions to customers and suppliers in writing and verbally.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
• Provide the highest standards of customer service.
• Process customer orders using the in-house operating system with accuracy.
• Prepare customs documentation for shipments into and from Europe.
• Build strong client relationships through verbal engagement.

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Operations Coordinator, whereby you will be providing logistical solutions for the UK and European market.

Hours are Monday to Friday (Apply online only), plus one Saturday morning every 4 weeks #removed#am

Duties Include:

• Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK.
• Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.
• Negotiating with both Customers and Suppliers to achieve most cost-effective solution.
• Providing the highest standards of Customer service.
• Processing Customer orders through use of the companies own “in-house” operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client's freight into and from Europe.
• Building very strong relationships with our clients, principally through verbal engagement
