Job summary

Gemcorp Capital in London is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations to own the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, manage daily treasury functions, and support MIS and liquidity reporting as the firm scales.

This six-month fixed-term contract offers a hands-on role partnering with Investment, Risk and Finance teams to shape the operating model and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced Operations professional from private credit, alternatives, or asset management, looking for your next high-impact role? Gemcorp Capital - a leading emerging markets investment firm specialising in private credit, trade finance, liquid markets and special situations is hiring a Senior Associate to join our growing Operations team in London on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a rare opportunity to take real end-to-end ownership across the transaction lifecycle, work directly with Investment, Risk and Finance teams, and help shape the firm's operating model during a genuine period of growth.

What You'll Own

• Full transaction lifecycle - trade capture through to settlement, servicing and maturity
• Daily treasury function, cash management and cash flow projections
• Daily/periodic MIS, P&L and liquidity reporting
• Oversight of the fund administrator, reconciliations and margining
• The firm's portfolio management system and integrity of market data
• Process improvement, automation and operational change projects

What We're Looking For

• Solid Operations experience in private credit, alternatives, asset management or banking
• Strong grasp of transaction lifecycles and fund operational processes
• Broad product and financial markets knowledge
• A systems-minded problem solver who thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment
