Job summary

Tether.io in Greater London is looking for an Operations Associate/Senior Associate to support the financial operations of a multi-asset investment platform. Responsibilities include managing trades, overseeing digital asset processes, and preparing comprehensive reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, alongside 5+ years of relevant operations experience. Proficiency in Excel and programming skills in VBA or Python are mandatory. This role requires working New York hours and being based in London.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and settlement processes.

About the Job

Be part of our Finance team: The Operations Associate/Senior associate will support the day-to-day operations of a multi-asset investment and treasury platform, with responsibilities spanning trade operations, reconciliations, digital asset workflows, and process automation. The role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with strong technical capability and experience operating in fast-paced financial markets environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage trade confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events across multiple asset classes.
• Oversee wallet, custodian, and digital asset operational processes.
• Perform daily booking and reconciliation of securities positions, cash balances, and P&L across internal systems.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and operational discrepancies with counterparties and custodians.
• Support operational controls relating to treasury, trading, and digital asset activities.
• Assist with audit requests, confirmations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting.
• Build, enhance, and maintain operational workflows, internal tooling, and automation processes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and user guides.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of operations experience preferably at a credit hedge fund.
• Experience in digital assets or blockchain ecosystem (good to have but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in Enfusion portfolio management system (not mandatory).
• Proficiency in Excel + VBA / Python is mandatory.

• Being able to work New York time: between (13H00 PM UK time -22H00 UK time) (mandatory).
