Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role vital for onboarding portfolio managers and their trading strategies globally. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an interest in trading and hedge funds. Broader responsibilities include middle office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts and ensure alignment with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact for onboarding queries and update stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
