Senior Onsite AV Technician – VC & Events

Job summary

proAV are seeking an experienced Onsite Technician for our Manchester team. You will represent proAV on client sites, supporting AV/VC systems, coordinating with account managers, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

The role involves assisting users with VC meetings, fault escalation, daily checks, and event support. Strong communication and CTS-certified AV knowledge are preferred; onsite presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills.
• Knowledge of current AV and VC equipment and systems.
• Relevant technical accreditations including CTS.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Manufacturers training.

Responsibilities

• Be a point of escalation through to the proAV Account Manager.
• Ensure all AV service activities are delivered seamlessly and efficiently.
• Assist users with VC meetings and requests, acting as the point of contact for VC queries.
• Escalate faults to central break-fix and track them.
• Carry out daily Ready for Business checks of AV systems.
