Senior Oncology Staff Nurse — Brighton Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work

Up to £48,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be attentive, driven, detail-oriented and empathetic. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
• Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy
• Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
• Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)
• Assist consultants during clinics
• Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
• Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
