Job summary

Experis UK is seeking a Senior Onsite Technician in Southampton to deliver hands-on IT support at their R&D Head Office. You will manage fault calls, service requests and changes, while providing deskside support and maintaining assets.

The role covers Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory tasks and VIP user interactions, operating Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 with a 30-minute break. Contract to 31 December 2026 with possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Manage fault calls, service requests and changes end-to-end.

• Support Active Directory administration and hardware repair.

Job Title: Senior Onsite Technician

Location: Southampton

Duration: 31st December 2026 with potential extension

Rate: Up to £200 per day via an approved umbrella company

Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri (Site Cover from 08:00 - 18:00; 8hr shift to include 30 min break)

You'll be the person end users turn to handling fault calls, service requests, planned changes, and delivering Smart Hands support while manning the BAT "TechDeck".

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing fault calls, service requests and planned changes end-to-end
• Providing Smart-Hands support for onsite IT needs
• Manning the "TechDeck" and supporting key users across the business
• Carrying out deskside activity including PC/laptop builds and OS configuration
• Supporting Active Directory administration and some hardware repair
• Using Office 365 and supporting Windows 11 environments
• Handling asset management and producing accurate documentation
• Engaging with VIPs/Executives/Senior Management and their support teams professionally
• Taking responsibility for complex cases and driving them to resolution
