Kelvin Power, part of the VINCI Energies Group, is seeking a Senior Overhead Line Engineer to lead design on 132kV to 400kV projects across the UK. You will own technical design, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

This role involves overseeing feasibility through to construction support, ensuring standards and best practices, and contributing to the growth of Kelvin Power within VINCI Energies.

Formación

• 5+ years post-graduate experience in overhead line transmission design
• Degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical Engineering (BEng, BSc or MSc)
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards CEng
• Advanced proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower
• Knowledge of NGET Technical Specifications and BS EN 50341
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for construction drawings
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients and stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and delivery of 132kV, 275kV and 400kV OHL projects
• Manage design activities from feasibility through detailed design
• Deliver designs for new-build, refurbishment and reconductoring
• Perform conductor system design and line modelling using PLS-CADD
• Carry out tower modelling with PLS-Tower and assess foundations
• Produce and review technical drawings and line fittings
