Job summary

Iberdrola Group in Lowestoft is seeking a Senior Windfarm Controller to lead HV switching, offshore logistics, and SCADA monitoring. You will coordinate transfers of personnel and equipment, ensure permits, assess weather and sea conditions, and operate wind turbine controls to maximize generation.

The role requires experience with HV Safety Rules, control room operations, and marine coordination. You’ll shadow HV authorised mentors and contribute to safe, cost-effective offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with High Voltage Safety Rules (HVSR) and Control Person or SAP roles.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and wind turbine technology (WTG).
• Offshore wind operations exposure and marine coordination experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform HV switching operations and prepare switching schedules.
• Coordinate transfer of personnel and equipment to offshore sites.
• Monitor weather, sea conditions and permits for safe operations.
• Support site control centre and asset integrity teams as needed.
