Job summary

WSP is seeking an Offshore Substation Structural Lead to drive engineering delivery for offshore wind projects. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across design, Owner's Engineering, and procurement, setting technical direction and ensuring schedule and budget alignment.

You will shape Basis of Design and technical specifications, support certification, and help grow the offshore substations capability within a global context.

Qualifications

• MEng in structural or civil engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership is expected.
• Significant offshore substation experience (topsides, jacket/monopile) is essential.
• Experience delivering offshore substations from concept to installation and FEED.
• Experience supporting certification and procurement for offshore assets.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for offshore substation structural engineering.
• Lead multi-discipline teams including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and cables.
• Oversee topside layout design for constructability and operability.
• Support design reviews and production of Basis of Design and technical specifications.
• Drive business growth in offshore substation projects and bid development.
