Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking experienced Associate or Chief Geotechnical Engineers to support growing UK and global workloads in ground engineering. The role focuses on advanced geotechnical analysis and offshore geotechnics, with leadership across offshore design and numerical modelling disciplines.

Ideal candidates will hold Chartered Engineer status, have MSc/PhD in geotechnical engineering, and possess strong skills in FLAC/PLAXIS, plus willingness to travel across the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MSc/PhD) in geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer status strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in geotechnical analysis and offshore design.
• Experience in offshore foundation design (monopile, jacket) and cable burial.
• Experience with numerical modelling software (FLAC, PLAXIS 2D/3D) and other geotechnical tools.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

• Lead complex geotechnical projects with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical reviews and guidance to colleagues.
