DATS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Offshore EC&I Engineer with strong expertise in control & instrumentation, functional safety and OT/industrial cyber security to join a specialist technical and regulatory team in Aberdeen. This senior role focuses on major hazard risk assessment and safety-critical systems.

You will undertake offshore inspections, contribute to safety cases, investigations and deliver high-quality technical reports, with regular travel 2-3 nights offshore up to 6-8

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore oil & gas or major-hazard environment.
• Knowledge of SIS and IEC 61511.
• Experience with safety cases or major hazard control reviews.
• Ability to assess safety-critical systems and apply risk-based improvements.

Responsabilités

• Assess safety cases and major hazard control measures.
• Undertake onshore and offshore technical inspections.
• Investigate incidents and provide specialist technical advice.
• Assess EC&I, functional safety and OT cyber security arrangements.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and expert evidence when required.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to apply best practices.
