White Recruitment is seeking a Senior Ocean Import Coordinator for a busy FCL department in Witham. The role involves handling shipments from start to finish, liaising with overseas partners, and providing accurate FCL quotations.

You will bring a minimum of 8 years' general freight forwarding experience and be motivated to contribute to a growing team. A competitive salary of up to £45,000 awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in freight forwarding or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ocean imports, particularly FCLs, in a UK-based forwarder.
• Experience managing shipments from start to finish and liaising with overseas partners.
• Ability to quote and price FCL shipments and manage client pricing.
• Experience managing key accounts and direct client relationships; familiarity with Amazon FBA shipments.

Senior Ocean Import Coordinator – Witham – Up to £45,000

An exciting opportunity to join a growing deep sea import team within a busy FCL department. This role is suited to a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 8 years’ general freight forwarding experience, capable of managing shipments from start to finish.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange deep sea import bookings
• Liaise with overseas offices and global partners
• Manage shipments end-to-end (start to finish)
• Process sales and purchase documentation
• Provide FCL quotations to UK clients
• Quote and manage shipments for FBA (Amazon) clients
• Maintain and update client bookings and pricing within shared systems
• Manage and develop key accounts
• Raise and process invoicesHandle direct client accounts and relationships
• Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, in line with company procedures

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Ocean imports, including FCL for a UK based freight forwarder
• Min. 8 years in freight forwarding
• Experience managing shipments from start to finish
• Experience working with overseas agents and partners
• Ability to quote and price FCL shipments
• Experience managing key accounts and direct client relationships
• Familiarity with FBA (Amazon) shipments
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
