Job summary

SDW Recruitment Ltd is seeking a freight forwarding professional in the UK to manage import sea freight from start to finish and ensure smooth end-to-end shipment handling.

You will raise new job files, collate shipping documents, classify cargo for HMRC tariffs, complete customs entries and coordinate delivery through invoicing.

Qualifications

• Previous freight forwarding experience.
• Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading.
• Good customer services skills.
• Good IT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipments from start to finish, predominantly import sea freight.
• Raise new job files, collate shipping documentation, claim UCNs, classify cargo to HMRC tariff codes and complete customs entries.
• Arrange final delivery through to invoicing the job out.
