Spring Supply Chain in London is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Operator to manage shipments from booking to delivery. The role focuses on ensuring a seamless, efficient service for customers and maintaining a welcoming, supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate has strong ocean imports experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

• Managing ocean import shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, customers, and hauliers.
• Preparing and checking import documentation.
• Customs clearance coordination (where applicable).
• Monitoring shipment progress and proactively communicating with customers.
• Handling invoicing, costing, and file completion.
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Ocean Import Operator (Freight Forwarding)

Location: Forest Gate, London

Salary: £31,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
