Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team at Stockton Hall, Stockton Hall, in a part-time permament role. You will support qualified OTs, lead development of vocational and educational programmes, and apply a trauma-informed approach to activities and patient engagement.

You will help patients build independence and life skills, contributing to recovery and meaningful participation in work/education. Training and progression paths are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or O-Levels A-C or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience.
• Creative individual with experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Promotes the value of occupation and upholds Priory Group values.

Responsibilities

• Update clinical records and computerised systems accurately as directed by the OT.
• Record and report patient involvement; refer unusual events to senior staff.
• Show compassion and be proactive, encouraging with staff and patients.
• Propose ideas to enhance patient experience from feedback.
• Ensure services provide good value for money and support site aims.
• Help patients increase sense of purpose through life skills and activities.
