Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to work across four North West complex care services. You’ll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants, delivering evidence‑based therapy and rehabilitation to empower residents to maximise independence.

You’ll develop person‑centred care plans with the Clinical Team, carry out assessments, maintain records and collaborate with the Therapy Team to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Clinical caseload management and delivering occupational therapy interventions.
• Team collaboration with Therapy Team to provide high-quality care.
• Strong communication and engagement with residents, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload.
• Develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant, Activities Coordinators).
• Carry out assessments and maintain accurate records for residents.
• Promote choice, dignity and independence.
