Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join four complex care services across the North East. You will provide specialist assessments and interventions to help residents maintain and build independence.

You’ll work with the Therapy Team to develop person-centred rehabilitation plans, manage a clinical caseload and keep accurate records. A BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential, with a salary of £41,030 per annum for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice.
• Ability to demonstrate a wide range of occupational therapy interventions and treatments.
• Kind and caring approach with a sense of humour and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Managing a clinical caseload.
• Collaborating with the Therapy Team to deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions.
• Carrying out assessments and maintaining accurate records for residents receiving occupational therapies.
• Promoting choice, dignity and independence in daily activities.
