Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor & WorkWell Team Lead to undertake comprehensive assessments, advise on fitness for work, and lead a multidisciplinary team within the WorkWell service. The role focuses on preventing sickness absence, facilitating return-to-work, and implementing evidence-based workplace health strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration Occupational Health experience.
• Experience undertaking fitness-for-work and work capability assessments.
• Experience delivering occupational health services in NHS/public sector environments.
• Essential registration and professional qualification as Occupational Health clinician.

Responsibilities

• Advance occupational health assessments using diverse information sources.
• Lead the clinical triage process for referrals within WorkWell.
• Provide leadership across the multidisciplinary WorkWell team.
• Engage with employers to promote workplace health and preventative strategies.
• Ensure governance, reporting, and compliant clinical documentation.
