Job summary

OH Medical is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor - Clinical Governance Lead to join its established in-house Occupational Health service in Wakefield, UK. You will provide professional and clinical leadership to the OH Nursing team and lead clinical governance processes to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.

Qualifications

• NMC registered RGN with an Occupational Health qualification.
• Extensive post-qualification Occupational Health experience.
• Leadership/management experience in Occupational Health.
• Experience developing clinical governance frameworks and improving service delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery
• Oversee service performance, demand and capacity management
• Lead health promotion, wellbeing and risk management initiatives

• Hold a proportionate clinical caseload and contribute to nurse-led clinics

Criteria

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
• Recognised Occupational Health Nursing qualification
• Extensive post-qualification Occupational Health experience
• Previous leadership or management experience within Occupational Health
• Experience developing clinical governance frameworks and improving service delivery
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and IT skills
• Full UK driving licence

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation within an occupational setting
• Experience within complex or public sector Occupational Health environments

Salary & Benefits

• £57,528 - £64,750
