Job summary

Assured Safety Recruitment Ltd seeks an Occupational Health Clinical Lead to drive OH standards across multiple sites in the UK. Hybrid role with homeworking, offering £55,000-£60,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.

You will lead governance, surveillance programmes and provide expert guidance to HR and operational leaders. The successful candidate will have an RGN with NMC registration, OH qualification, and multi-site OH experience.

Qualifications

• RGN with active NMC registration and OH qualification.
• Strong multi-site Occupational Health experience.
• Experience delivering OH governance, QA and audits.
• Competence in OH surveillance (spirometry, audiometry, health assessments).
• Ability to review and improve OH practice; confident with OH systems.
• Independent, proactive communicator with strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve OH clinical standards across multiple sites.
• Own OH governance, quality and audit processes.
• Strengthen surveillance programmes (spirometry, audiometry, health checks).
• Provide expert OH advice to HR, HSE and operations leaders.
• Coach and develop OH colleagues; promote continuous improvement.

About you: Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
• Occupational Health Diploma / Degree or equivalent Occupational Health qualification
• Strong experience working in Occupational Health in multi‑site or complex environments
• Competence in Occupational Health surveillance (spirometry, audiometry, health assessments)
• Experience delivering Occupational Health clinical governance, quality assurance and audit
• Ability to review and improve Occupational Health clinical practice carried out by others
• Confident using Occupational Health systems and technology‑driven processes
• Comfortable working independently
• Strong communication skills and a people‑centred approach
